This is a rainwater catchment system I designed & built the prototype using basic tools and local materials. The system consists of four 55-gallon barrels that collect and store rainwater, which can be used for various purposes such as watering plants, washing cars, and flushing toilets. Implementing this system can reduce a user's water bills and help conserve water in Humboldt County.
I worked closely with the Office for Inclusion and Diversity (OID) personnel and Cultural and Community Centers (CCC) directors to maintain and build the respective websites
I encouraged and implemented accessibility standards for the OID and CCC websites
And of course I built THIS site!
Below is an excerpt from the fiction novel I am currently working on called The Reverends. This project started as a way for me to rewrite the traumas I have experienced in my life, where I am the hero and no longer the victim.
A release date has not been established. Come back for updates!
There is a secret society living among us; a society who calls themselves The Reverends. No one can pinpoint exactly when the society started, however their work can be seen woven throughout history. They were created to help rid the world of things that hide in the shadows and kill without remorse; monsters. "Monster" seems to be the easiest way to describe the unexplainable creatures that cross the paths of The Reverends. These beings of concentrated evil are thought to only exist in the worst of nightmares. But ever since evil was introduced into the world, the human minds of our society have breathed life into these nightmares. Parasitic beings that feed off of our fears and can only be brought to life by the imagination of humans.
